AICSS aims to bring together researchers, scientists, scholars and scholar students to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results about economics (economic theory, economic analysis, macroeconomics and money, microeconomics, economic psychology, econometrics, international economics, public finance, economic growth and development, social economics), business and administrative studies (management, marketing, finance and accounting, international business, business law, supply chain and logistics management), political science and international relations (politics, public policy, political theory, public administration, political methodology, comparative politics) within the global and interdisciplinary scope, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions proposed.
Papers are published in the conference proceedings and selected papers from those presented at the conference will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Yıldız Social Science Review.
AICSS 2017 is a internationally double-blind reviewed conference.

ASAF S. AKAT
ASAF SAVAS AKAT
Asaf Savaş Akat, born in 1943, teaches economics at Istanbul Bilgi University. He has been an op-ed columnist (Sabah and Vatan) and co-hosted a popular prime-time TV program on current economic issues (NTV). In addition to his academic and media careers, he worked in private industry, co-founded and became the first president of the private (foundation) Istanbul Bilgi University, co-founded a liberal political party (New Democracy Movement – YDH) and has been actively involved in NGOs, mainly in education and social research. Professor Akat received his BA and Ph.D. from Istanbul University, MA from University of East Anglia (UK) and did post-doctoral work at London School of Economics. He is married to Nilufer Göle, professor of sociology at Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris France. (http://akat.bilgi.edu.tr/pages_cv.asp)
